As teenagers, they were inspired by their favourite action heroes on TV. When they first joined Nam Wah Pai, their ultimate goal then was to obtain a black belt. But over the years, their experience showed them that attaining a black belt was but the start of their journey.

Nam Wah Pai has become a way of life for them as they’ve grown to love the variety of the art, the rewarding sense of self, and the extended family they’ve become a part of.
